2.1.2026 | Den 1 januari trädde en ny förordning i kraft inom EU som kompletterar den allmänna dataskyddsförordningen. Förordningen påskyndar dataskyddsmyndigheternas verksamhet i frågor som är kopplade till flera länder inom EU och Europeiska ekonomiska samarbetsområdet. När ärendet berör människor i flera länder behandlar dataskyddsmyndigheterna ärendet i samarbete. Utredningen visade att det inte hade säkerställts ett tillräckligt dataskydd för personuppgifter när de överfördes till USA via Valtoris molntjänst.
