  1. 25.4.2025 | Dataombudsmannen har godkänt två Nokias ansökningar om bindande företagsbestämmelser (s.k. BCR-bestämmelser, eng. Binding Corporate Rules). BCR-bestämmelserna avser gemensamma, juridiskt bindande bestämmelser om överföring av personuppgifter inom en koncern. Med stöd av dem kan företag som hör till samma koncern överföra personuppgifter sinsemellan till länder utanför EU och EES.

  2. 3.7.2025 | Europeiska unionens råd och Europaparlamentet har nått en preliminär överenskommelse om en ny lag. Syftet med lagen är att göra samarbetet mellan de europeiska dataskyddsmyndigheterna smidigare i frågor som gäller människor i flera EU-länder. Myndigheternas verksamhet effektiveras bland annat genom att förenkla processerna och ge tidsfrister för behandlingen av klagomål.

  3. 5.3.2025 | De europeiska dataskyddsmyndigheterna utreder i år hur organisationerna tillgodoser personers rätt att få sina uppgifter raderade. I den gemensamma utredningen deltar 32 tillsynsmyndigheter för dataskydd från olika delar av Europa. Dataombudsmannens byrå utreder situationen i Finland med en anonym enkät riktad till personuppgiftsansvariga.

  4. 25.2.2025 | I EU:s förordning om digitala tjänster föreskrivs det om skyldigheter för tillhandahållare av digitala tjänster att förbättra tjänsternas öppenhet och säkerhet. I fjol fick myndigheterna i Finland nästan 80 klagomål om misstankar om brott mot förordningen om digitala tjänster, och EU-kommissionen har inlett flera undersökningar om digitala jättar. I februari 2025 har förordningen om digitala tjänster tillämpats fullt ut i ett år.

Genom webbplatsens analytiktjänster och andra uppföljningstekniker har uppgifter om användningen av nätapoteket läckt till uppföljningsteknikföretag.
