20.3.2020 | Europeiska dataskyddsstyrelsen har publicerat ett utlåtande om behandlingen av personuppgifter i coronavirusläget. De europeiska dataskyddsmyndigheterna betonar att dataskydd inte förhindrar bekämpningen av pandemin. Bekämpningen av coronaviruset är ett gemensamt mål för alla länder och det ska stöttas på bästa möjliga sätt. Dessutom måste man se till att personuppgifter skyddas och dataskyddsrättigheterna tillgodoses även under undantagsförhållanden.

6.4.2020 | Europeiska dataskyddsstyrelsen avser att reagera snabbare i dataskyddsfrågor relaterade till coronakrisen. Styrelsen kommer att utfärda riktlinjer för bland annat användning av lokaliseringsuppgifter, anonymisering av uppgifter och behandling av hälsouppgifter inom vetenskaplig forskning.
